The home of Radical Blue Magic (2005), registered sire of AQHA and AQPA, black purebred western pleasure Quarter Horse. Magic is now the proven sire of eight gorgeous foals, with another seven due this season.
August News, 2010 Congratulations to Two Rivers Quarter Horse Stud on the safe arrival of a filly foal last week, by Magic. The first for this season. BREEDING SALE ON NOW! There is a 10% discount for all registered Thoroughbred, Quarter Horse, Arabian, Pony, Quarter Pony, Paint and Appaloosa mares if paid in full, until 31st August. We only have one horse for sale now, WOLKEN GEORGIA, and only the one foal due in September. But Magic is still enjoying a life of leisure and now thinks it is the stud season. His winter coat is falling out and there is "spring" in the air. But, sorry Magic! Another couple of weeks to wait yet! EVENTS AT KAREELA HILL; Kojonup Equestrian Club Rally Day, June 20th. A very successful day with a focus on using natural horsemanship techniques to "bombroof" the horses to all sorts of new objects.

We have been halter training young Radical Skippin Leo (Q- 68179), and he just "gets it". Now gelded, he is busy doing what he does best, growing.

AGISTMENT: A new service we can now offer is agistment for outside horses at the rate of $5 per day. Paddocks have lots of shade and playmates too, with full supervision by experienced horse people.
ACCOMMODATION: We also have overnight/short stay accommodation available in Queen size rooms with private bathroom facilities. A guided tour of the stud is included in the price. B & B: $80 per couple or $40 single. Other meals by arrangement

About Kareela Hill Stud
Kareela Hill Stud is a horse stud specialising in breeding FEI and Olympic quality Hanoverian Warmbloods by super sires such as Weltmeyer, Wolkenstein II and Wolkentanz, through the use of imported frozen semen (IFS).
We also breed modern Western Pleasure type Quarter Horses with quiet, reliable temperaments and sound conformation, making them the appropriate horse for a wide range of pursuits. Most of our Quarter Horses are purebred, but, occasionally we also cross our QH stallion over selected warmblood mares to create that special "designer" horse which can be sometimes registered as a first cross quarter horse and a warmblood with A.C.E. too. These horses are then ideal for pursuing AQHA ROMs in dressage and also perfect for the teenager or adult rider looking for the perfect combination of movement, good looks and temperament.
